Photos of pools with Pebble Sheen colors?

We are having a hard time deciding on a color for our pool and the pictures on the pebble sheen site only serve to confuse us more.

Can you all post photos of your pools with the following colors?

Blue Surf, Blue Granite, Ocean Blue, Turtle Bay

We would like to stay closer to Blue than Green. My wife is not a huge fan of Bubble Gum Blue (blue surf) as she calls it but I like it.

Thanks!

Jeff

This is the render of our pool.

Jeff - I don’t have Pebble Tec but have Wet Edge. The only thing I can offer is that pictures are sooooo deceptive to the actual colors. Trouble is, different time of day, different amount of sun, clouds, shade on the pool, wind conditions, ALL will impact color. To truly get a gauge, I would ask your PB if they can show you a finish pool in the color of your choice.

Jeff,

What shingles points out above.. is right on... no internet picture will show you the true color.. You need to see it and feel it.

I have a pebble sheen like finish.. the smoothest version my pool builder had... It still feels like 80 grit sandpaper.. You really need to feel it (walk on it, if possible) before buying..

Thanks,

Jim R.

We love our Blue Granite Pebble Sheen. It changes color depending on time of day, sunlight, etc. We have a screened enclosure which I’m sure makes a difference as well.
Anyhow...a few pics, from varying angles/times.

Here's our Ocean Blue. Looks dark in these pics, but it's actually somewhere between blue granite and prism blue, I think.

I disagree a little bit with the pictures you see being a poor example. My view is that if you see a picture that looks properly exposed (the other stuff in the picture looks the correct color) then the water color you see is one that you WILL see at some point in your pool (one of a hundred different shades). The other factor is the surroundings. We have tall trees on one side of our pool So that greatly affects the water color (when looking in that direction) because the trees are being reflected in the pool. Pools look different at winter noon vs. summer noon, etc.

Everyone is quite surprised that color varies so much. Expect it. Even a color you see in person may not look the same on your pool. It's the hardest decision for many, especially who want it just so. It won't be just so, it will be a hundred versions of just so.

Yes it can get confusing. We are selecting from level 1 pebble sheen and have narrowed it to Caribbean Blue and Blue Surf. Here in Houston Caribbean Blue is available in pebble sheen. Photos only seem to make the decision harder since they vary so much. My wife thinks Blue Surf looks like Windex, but I do not want a pool that looks like it has algae in it either.
