Hi. Soon to be lol owner and worried about decision on size of pool. Any photos or suggestions welcomed. We are planning to install. 14x28 with 9 ft uses for tanning ledge and stairs. I’m worried it will be too small area remaining for swimming. It is deepest at 5 ft so all useable. Anyone have photos or ideas? May be able to add a side ledge and keep pool as is??? Time of essence though . TIA

Absolutely I would push that tanning ledge off to the side as 28' is short already. I would also make sure the shallow end water depth is at *least* 3.5', although 4' is better.

We'd love to guide you along here with best equipment choices and such. Just keep this thread going with all the details and questions you may have as they arise.

Hi we did a 14’ x 24’ sports pool 4’ x 5’ x 3.5’ even if we went to 28’ long the stairs would be in the way. If you are going to chew up 9’ of that you are left with 14’ x 19’ of swim room. Is that enough for you? I agree aon putting the tanning ledge and stairs off to the side. I wish we did this now.
