pH Testing

I have a K-2006. When testing pH find it difficult to tell the difference between 7.8 and 8.0. I've noticed if I put a drop of the Acid Demand Reagent it seems to drop the pH by .2.

When I can't tell the difference between 7.8 and 8.0 I add the Acid Demand. If after 1 drop the color matches 7.6 I know the pH was 7.8. If it takes 2 drops it's 8.0. I don't really know if this is an accurate way to test and wanted to know what others think about it, and if there are any tricks to discerning 7.8 vs 8.0.

I suggest you don't sweat it. Call it as the best you see it. A .2 differnce in pH makes no real difference.
