pH Rising Non-Stop

Have a 15,000-gallon liner pool. Installed a new liner about 3 weeks ago. Since then, I am having to add 1/3 gallon of acid every day to keep the pH below 8.0.

Is this something caused by the new liner--will it settle in over time? Before replacing the liner, I was adding acid about once every 3 weeks.

Current Numbers
Alkalinity = 160
Hardness = 175
Free Chlorine = 2.5

Anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance.

What was the TA of the pool water before you drained and replaced the liner?

Your current TA is high. As you add acid and keep the pH in the 7's, the TA is coming down as long as you do not add high TA fill water or any TA raising chemicals.
