pH low, TA low -- which first?

Yep, brand new reagent, clean and rinsed color block. I'm thinking I'll test it again with the pH meter. It is very low, isn't it...
Are u sure u have the right regeant for the comparator block you are using? You have 2 kits in your signature
The one in the tf100 uses r-0014
The one in the k2006 uses r-0004

When u said they were new I thought of maybe a shipper putting the wrong thing in the box 📦 I always grab my kit & check the #’s before ordering cuz there’s no way I remember all those regeant #’s !

My results this morning

FC 4.0
CC 0
pH 7.5
TA 80
CYA 70

I only put 1 lb and some change in the net bag for CYA -- that's HALF what PoolMath called for to take it from 0 to 40! No idea why it's so high. I'll test it again in about a week, give it time to settle in.

pH is good, TA is good, and wonder of wonders, the green tinge is GONE! The water is crystal clear and blue. Just have to vacuum up the dead algae and other detritus from the floor.

And that's about it for now!

Passed OCLT this morning, so I'm officially algae free! 6.0 last evening, 6.0 this morning. I'm just getting back into the swing of things, so I came back in the house after collecting the sample, tested, then came and laid back down. After a short nap I'll go vacuum. Being virtually bedbound for 2 years takes it out of ya, ain't no lie.
