Pentair TR60 Buttress blows off.

mine is 2020ish sand filter

(the TR60 is about 5ish years old) (March 06 2021 Saturday).

In 2021, you said it was 5 years old, so how do you get 2020 for the date?

If it was 5 years old in 2021, then that means that it was from 2016, which makes it at least 8 years old.

Did it look brand new at the time you bought it?

Do you have the receipt?

Do you know the exact day the filter was installed?

Where did you buy the filter from?

Did you install it or did someone install it for you?

If I posted that 5 years ago then it must be at least 10 years old. I can find no trace of when I bought it but it was still in the box. The old dome looks like the Detail A. I installed it as it was just a swap with the old TR60. Perfect line up.

I appreciate your input and research. I will start looking at a replacement filter.

The dome thread is now brand new (152519Z), the original did the same thing. I saw something about the V type is an older version, mine is 2020ish sand filter

Those threads are compromised.
