Hello @Dessum
Hi and thanks for asking that code 001A error, I have the same problem took the darn think apart, lubed all the seals, no real debris, opened it up Impeller working smoothly, but when I try to turn it on after factory reset and memory clear...it shows pri and the 001A error, but before the error code shoes I hear a click like it is trying to start? About a week ago, it shut off and there was a quite a bit of debris int he basket and I cleaned it and reset it and it started up worked for 5 days now this, any ideas, is does the click mean anything when I hit start then it clicks right before the error code comes up. The pump is about 6 years old. Thank you in advance.

Cheryl,
Welcome to TFP! It's trying to Prime (normal factory settings) but then is detecting current overload. Normally that error means there's something that's keeping the pump from rotating. Could be some trash in the impeller especially likely if the suction basket was full You may be able to access the impeller section by TURNING OFF THE BREAKER first. Then remove the basket in the suction side and reach in to the pump. Small hands work better for this. If you feel it and can't remove then you'll need to disassemble the pump. Are you comfortable doing this? If not, it's time to call a service tech. It's also possible windings or vs control are bad but these pumps usually work longer than 6 years.
