Pentair (Sta-Rite) Intellipro #013004 3 HP VSP

Hello Group.

I have the above pump and it has developed a leak where the metal band joins the 2 cases together. The parts that I need, I cannot find. I have searched high and low. I have already replaced the seals and orings. I just need the 2 cases. The seal plate and the tank body assembly. Anyone got?

Pentair customer support has not been able to suggest anything. To the point, they are worthless to even waste a call to.

I thought about replacing the entire pump, but #013004 cannot be found in stock. What alternative Pentair pump can be used that is compatable with my control center? Something someone might have in stock......maybe.

Is there a crack in the sealplate or housing? I looks like the O ring isn't in the proper position. You also have seal leak and may be mistaking that for a leak at the sealplate. Best fix that soon or you will destroy the motor.

I have tried to find the Seal Plate and the Tank Body Assembly and NO ONE has any in stock that I have contacted. We have removed and replaced the oring, siliconed it, etc. and it still leaks. All we cna figure is either the seal plate or the tank body assembly is warped. No visible cracks have been found. The Seal Plate is Part #C103-194P. The Tank Body Assembly is Part #17307-0110S.

With that in mind, I have considered just replacing the entire pump. From what I understand, I have EC-013004. I have also attempted to located that pump and NO ONE has it in stock. Pentair has also suggested other pumps such as EC-011028 or EC-023056. Those pumps must be compatable with the Intellitouch system. Search for those 2 pumps have found nothing in stock.

Pentair has been wiped out across the board since the TX freeze of '19. Shipments come in and they're depleted in no time. It takes some effort and a good deal of luck to locate what you need. Please accept my well wishes that your hunt is fruitful.
