Pentair Easy Touch 8 remote screen was unreadable so I decide rather than a new one I'd install the Pentair Screen Logic Interface. Everything went well except for my lights which seemed to be reversed. Spa light goes on when I turn on pool light and reverse. I have been through all the set up in the control panel and they all seem to be the same as when it was on the Easy Touch. Any idea's???

ScreenLogic just communicates with the EasyTouch, it does not make changes.. If your lights are reversed then the EasyTouch is just programmed wrong or wired wrong.
I suspect that someone just swapped labels on the front panel so that it appears to work correctly.
As an example... If the Aux 2 button actually turns on the Aux 3 relay you'd never know standing at the panel. But, if you use ScreenLogic to turn on the actual Aux 2 relay, it is not going to turn on the device you think it should.
Each relay "should" be plugged in the correct port on the main card.. But, any relay can be plugged into any relay port, it just won't work the way it should.
I suggest that you go look at the relays that control your lights and make sure the little coil wire is connected to the correct port. As an example.. Aux 1 relay needs to be plugged into the Aux 1 connector on the main card, etc...
Basically this can't be a ScreenLogic issue...

Thats what i found odd about it, I have had the easy touch for years and each button work correctly on the assigned labels on the Easy touch and corresponding label on the main control panel. I ran through each function prior to switching over just to insure I didn't have any prior issues. When using easy touch the pool and spa lights came on as programmed. After the switch they were reversed. The only change that occurred was swapping out the old transceiver board with a new board and connecting the r/y/g/bl wire. so i will look at relays and see if that might be a issue. Thanks for your help.... (i agree it shouln't be a Screen logic issue since it just mimics the easy touch)
Download SLConfig app from app store I put your protocol adapter address, connect to your system. Then go into setup circuits and select the aux that says pool light and change the name to spa light hit the save button on the bottom right, then select the second spa light and change it to pool light select save at bottom right, exit app and open screen logic connect app and test. Very simple. Good luck have fun
