Pentair Pool Heater backfire noise

I've been working on a similar (backfire issue) ever since the heater was installed in 2021! The dealer nor Pentair have been much help. The backfire is intermittent in both frequency and intensity. Sometimes it shuts the heater off and other times it just relights. It is located in a basement and vented through 4" SS pipe. It has a 18" horizontal run into a 90' then across the wall about 7' horizontal into a 90' up the wall 7' vertical into a 90 the exits the building in about 18" horizontal.

Any ideas?

What model number MasterTemp heater do you have?

Natural gas or propane?

Have you had the gas pressures checked using a manometer both static and when running?

Post pics of the heater and the air intake run and your other pool equipment.
