I recently had no power on my 5 year old unit. It was working around 2021, and I just got busy and didn't spend the time and money. But last week or so, I did some research here and on YouTube, and instead of calling a repair company, I decided to troubleshoot myself. I found my board was the issue. I was able to put in a new membrane pad and board. To be more preventative, I replaced the high limit switch, shutoff switch, thermistor, and thermal regulator. All were very shot. Everything is firing as it should.
My question is, is my actuator in the correct position when my pool or spa heater is on? This is a basic question, but I think I'm not doing it right.
Also, I'm here in Dallas, so the water is around 45-55. Does it take long to get it up to 80-90? Below are some pictures. The unit is running well, and there are no service lights or cut-offs.
Spa on and set to 104.

Is this normal? The spa water is still flowing. Is that letting the hot water into the pool? Is that wrong?

This I turned to off position. (the jets in the pool are not on, and the spa is on water)

Is this ok? Does suction need to be turned?
