The Pentair owners manual states that continuous use at water temps below 68 will cause damage due to condensation. Water temp is currently 63 and I’m wondering if there is truly any harm in heating the tub for the kids for the day? Any thoughts?

You can use the heater to heat the spa. One would assume you will heat the water to above 68F. That is all that matters.
Setting the heat to maintain a water temperature at or below 68F is not recommended.
