I am noticing that my ET is not controlling the heater in a funny way. I can set heat to 92* on the ET settings, but if the heater is set at 90*. It will shut off. Only way to hook up heater to panel is by fireman's switch. No other connections are available.
Am I right in guessing that the water temp reading and the setting on the heater, overrides the temp setting on the ET panel?
If so, should I up the heater's temp setting and then would be able to control the temp from the ET's heater setting? Say put heater on 100*, but have ET setting on 90* or so.
Would the ET then control on/off of heater based on it's water temp and not the heater's internal water temp?
TIA
