The three lights on the left (auto, service and time out) are lit red. If I unplug the left com port. The light will go back to the point where I can choose between (auto, service and time out) but the system wont run even on service. Sometimes all the lights on the system are red and sometimes it’s just the three.

I bought and plugged in a new circuit board, (as advised by a pool professional that came to my house), but the same problem persists.

What am I missing?

Welcome to TFP!

just so I understand... are you saying the system operates normally when you unplug the left comm port? OR are you saying the system doesn't ever operate normally and only the number of leds that light up differ depending on whether the left comm port is plugged in?

what does that left comm port go to? salt generator? indoor panel? transceiver card? (and go ahead and fill out some details in your signature so we know what other equipment you've got)

I disconnected and cleaned the com port and now lights are normal. The new issue is that the system will only run in service or time out mode. When I run it in one of those modes the system will run for a few minutes and then make a loud popping noise and completely shut off. Forcing me to have to reset the main breaker. The spa pump also shows “Alarm”. The LED blinks 7 times which indicates “supply voltage low”. My system originally shut off a week ago when I was running the spillway and water feature at the same time. Not sure if I need a more power breaker?

I have included photos.

where is the loud popping coming from? please try and be as specific as you can so we can help

and we still need to know what's connected to your comm ports. i can see that the pump is connected to the rightmost comm terminal block.

does your pump run standalone? i.e. if you disconnect the comm cable from the pump can you control it at the pump keypad?

The loud popping noise is coming from the control panel. After it pops the systems lights go out and I have to reset the breaker several times before the lights come back on.

The com port that is tripping the lights is connected to the antenna that controls the pentair screen logic app. That seems to be fixed now. (as seen in photo)

Yes when I unplugged both com ports i can still control the pump on the keypad. So it must be stand alone.
