Hi!
I had a dead heater for few years & got it replaced. There was nothing on so pool guy told me to even replace temp sensor.
Boom! The system shut down & won’t work.
The outdoor panel has all red lights.
The inside panel just has a light. Nothing operates.
I did have a problem with spa side remote previously & disconnected it while back.
Now my pool guy says I have to change whole panel.
Everything was working prior to heater install.
please help.

Hey,
With the system showing all red leds, you said the indoor unit has one light... Do you mean the backlight, or an aux led? Is it displaying the menus correctly?

Darn down and unplug both comm port blocks (one of you have an i5), and pull off the air/water/temp sensor block... If you power up does the outdoor board still have all red leds?

Yes! It just has backlight now. I did show everything before but couldn’t control.
I removed both comm ports, temp sensor & even gas heater that was just put in. Nothing.
i turned all extras - waterfall, spa blower off . Still same red lights.

If you have a multimeter.... With the indoor panel connected and the system powered up, measure dc volts on the red/black terminals of the comm port. You should get 10 or above. Be very careful not to touch the green/yellow (data) terminals with the test leads
