I have a very old Jacuzzi Magnum 1500 pump (1.5 HP/230V) and it's on it's last legs, almost didn't get it going last season. So I'm thinking I'd like to move to a variable speed and hear good things about the Pentair IntelliFlo VS pump. Price isn't really a concern and I don't have any automation currently and no in-floor cleaning system. Any reason this wouldn't be a good choice for my pool? Or any different recommendations? Thanks!
