I have a ~4.5 year old Pentair intellichlor IC40 that started having a green blinking light recently. (I’d estimate around 10,000hrs of use) I confirmed salt content was still near 3600 ppm. I removed and did the acid clean per the manual, with no evidence of scale bubbling so only left the acid solution in the cell less than a minute.
Is there any other things to diagnose what’s wrong with the cell or do I need to replace it? Based on the manual, this appears to be typical life span of a cell.
If replacement is recommended, I’d be interested in input on some other options like an apex p40 or apex p60.
