Pentair High Power Wireless Link

We just upgraded our Engenius to the Pentair High Power Wifi link kit (Part# 523434). Now we can connect "remote", but not "local". Our installer said the new system will not be able to use "local" anymore. Has anyone found a way to use it? Doesn't sound right to us. Using "remote" connection won't work if the Intellicenter2 website is down will it?

That does not sound right to me either.

What WiFi system do you have?

What router do you have?

Where on your home network is the Wifi link kit plugged into?

You have any fancy firewalls on your network? I think you have a firewall blocking the path from your wifi to the link.
