PENTAIR HEATER MASTERTEMP ON DISPLAY GOES UP TO 300DEGREES!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello
When heater is on and heating the temp on display will show it casually increasing up to 300 degree faranehit

the thermastat was replaced
the high temp limit was replaced
the “service heater” light does not light up

the heater will keep heating without no disruption and no service codes come up

any ideas?

Replace the membrane keypad.

With the older 5 button keypad heaters you hold down POOL or SPA button for at least 10 seconds to display the exhaust temp. One of your buttons is stuck ON and it is displaying your exhaust temperature.
