Pentair EasyTouch Firmware downgrade

Hi Tom

I seem to have the exact issue outlined in your post of 10/4/22. I had a power surge take out my Pentair EasyTouch automation controller board and once I was able to get it replaced, found that it will not sync with my wireless remote. Wireless remote firmware is 2.14 but the new outdoor board has firmware of 2.19. Is downgrading that firmware to 2.14 something I can do? If so, is there a resource to explain the process and tool(s) needed?

Thanks
Chuck

Hey Chuck,
Interesting... so your transceiver is at 2.030? That would be good validation of the issue. But anyway, I still have the 2.140 files so it can be downgraded.

Check out Jerry's post about how to do it... it's not hard but you'll need to get a programmer, whip up a cable and download some programming software.

If you don't want to try it yourself, shoot me a pm and I can get it updated for you.

Thanks,
Tom
