My first post! We're planning to get an inground pool in a few weeks. The pool builder, that we haven't signed a contract with, is saying a few things I think are shady.
First, he says the PN 520592 Pentair EasyTouch 4PSC-IC20 doesn't come with a chlorine generator or transformer, so he added a standalone chlorine generator to the bid. BTW, I'm quite sure the IC20 part of EasyTouch 4PSC-IC20 means it includes SCG integration & IC20 cell. Does the 520592 come with a pre-installed IC20 chlorine generator?
Second, he says that with the EasyTouch 4PSC-IC20 (and the 'added' chlorine generator) I will be able to use an app on my phone to control the pool pump/light and chlorine generator. I didn't see anything else in the bid that included something that adds wireless to the EasyTouch control panel. Will I need another part to get the app to work on my phone?
The pool will be around 10K gallons.
