Pentair Easy Touch ?

Just bought home in Tucson that has the Pentair EasyTouch system with wireless 8 remote. I am used to Hayward equipment so trying to learn Easytouch. Have read through the manual and watched numerous YouTube videos on how to use Easytouch. A couple of things elude my understanding though-

1). Is there someway I can view the pump speed while it is running? Since the display doesn’t work on the pump itself when connecTed to Easytouch I can’t see if this is possible.

2). Can’t get the heater to turn on when in Service mode. I push the Heater button and nothing happens. It works fine when I push the Pool button on the wireless remote, so the heater is working fine.

1. Menu > Settings > Intelliflo > Pump 1 > Status
2. That should work. The Heater button is supposed to work only in Service mode. But the heater will only turn on if (a) the pump is running and (b) heat is called for. I.e., the Heater button is not Off/On, it's Off/Auto. To what is your heater's power connected? (PS, sometimes the panel buttons are finicky and want to be pushed twice.)

Do yourself a huge favor and get ScreenLogic where you can see screens like this one on your PC..

ScreenLogic is more fun to use and makes programming almost intuitive.
