When I power the controller on, the panel displays correctly. If I quickly press the F-Filter Pump button it clicks and lights Red, same for control buttons. i.e. they work properly. However within maybe 10 seconds it clicks off again and the panel display gradually fades to display nothing. It's still lit with the green background but no display and the control buttons on the panel no longer work. I've tested the AC low voltage from the transformer and it all seems fine although reading a little high. i.e 10 reads 13, 18 reads 21, 24 reads 27. I've seen a lot of posts with similar problems but I still cannot determine my issue. Any ideas? This system is about 14 years old. Where I live we sometimes get problems with our main AC power supply. We have had brown outs which do cause damage and a brown out could have caused this problem. I can't be sure as I was away at the time so it could be coincidental. Maybe it's old and the board needs replacing?
Hi, I am having exact same issue. When I flip breaker on it powers up with lights time etc. after a couple of seconds the screen fades and it ls dead. No controls at that point. Acts like a short or something tripping.
Side note This was after an intellichlor issue when the connection seemed loose and would work intermittently. Not sure they are related but odd because I have had zero problems to this point.
