While trying to pull the filter lid off, I thought I might have loosened the fitting. I tried to tighten the union nut, but it is still leaking. Facing the filter, which way to turn to tighten? Do you think it needs a new union nut, C-clamp, and union o-ring? A video of the leak is attached.

That particular union nut would be turned to the left if you are facing the filter. To the right if you are facing away. You likely need a new O ring, part #071426.
I loosened the union nut and removed the old o-ring. I thought I might as well replace the "C" clip at the same time. How do I remove the existing "C" clip?
