My chlorinator is blink on the clean cell, but I just cleaned it. The exit side of the fins are eaten up a bit. Will this cause my system to not work?

Sorry to tell you, but when the Cell light blinks, when the cell is clean, it means the cell is toast
I have three old saltwater pools and have gone through several cells and they all did that same thing..
Sometimes, you can power them down and back up and they might work another hour or another day, but the blink will come back.
