I have a Pentair cc core that is not staying together, appears the tabs broke off
Is it possibly to glue it together? if so what glue to use?
or spend the $150 to get a new one

This is the original core from2016.

From your description, I'm unsure what part "the core" is. Forum members may be able to give you a better idea of a potential fix if you post a photo of the broken part. If it is the core of the filter cartridges, best to buy new.

Looks like you can get a new one for around $125 here....

I doubt any glue will hold it long term. But you can try something like JB Weld and see how it works.

Ignore my previous post! I didn't notice the part number in your title. Based on the age of your filter core, I'd say it would be best to buy a new core. Gluing the tabs back in place would not last long in pressure and water chemistry.

After reading the comments I decided to glue the 2 sections together that the tabs had broken off. I used a black abs glue and followed the directions and let it dry for 2 hours it is good to 180 psi, cost $7
I will follow up next time I clean the filter.
