I was just ordering a Pentair 1hp Variable Speed pump when the dealer said they can't get it but can get the same pump by Sta-Rite. Apparently Sta-Rite was taken over by Pentair. So is Sta-Rite a good pool pump? As good as Pentair? Dealer says identical just black instead of beige with different name plate. What say you all? Anyone have experience with Sta-Rite variable speed pump?
