Pentair 5g light blinks?

I JUST finished installing new pentair 5g pool and spa light. When I turned it on to check for power, it would blink once fast and pause for about 20sec and blink again. Its color, so each time it blinks, it blinks a different color like its powering completely off and on. They both blink at same time Please help troubleshoot

is the light ON in between blinks? in other words, it blinks fast/changes color, stays on for 20sec and then blinks/changes color again?? it sounds like you might have it in "party" mode.

It blinks quickly than turns off instantly. About 15-20sec later it repeats. But after about 5times it doesn't blink anymore. It never stays on.

Ok guys, so I installed the lights last night after work and ran out of daylight so couldn't really troubleshoot problem. This morning I backtracked the wiring and it turned out that the black wire was not making a full connection. I retwisted it and boom, it seems to be working. Ps, I only have lights on for a few seconds cus I know it needs to be cooled by water, thanks

LEDs run much cooler, so they are a bit more forgiving, but yes, it is good that you have that mind set. Wait for the water, it will look better anyway...
