Pentair 460931 vs Raypak M5450ti-E

Hi all,

We are looking at replacing our pool heater for this season, and have been giving info/quotes on these two units. Looking for:

• pros/cons between the two
  • if anyone has specifics on the models and/or the brands
• suggestions on where to purchase

I know a lot of folks on here seem to love their Pentair units, and since this is all new to us, we're looking to you for guidance.

Raypak definitely. You'll have the least amount of trouble with it and lower repair costs if it ever needs any.

Any suggestions on where we can purchase the Raypak unit? The one place we have found online they are "special order" and will take 2-3 weeks to come in.

I have no suggestions for where to buy. May want to confirm warranty validity depending on where you buy and who installs.
