Pentair 40000 matertemp Natural Gas (BIG PROBLEM)

I just replaced the blower and igniter. Never done this before. So my question is Why is the combustion tank full of water. How can i fix it. Without having to buy a new one.

Probably a leak in the heat exchanger.

Probably time for a new heater.

No, you have pinholes in the tubing that flows the water through the heater and it leaks into the combustion chamber. They should be isolated.

It is a commn failure. How old is your heater?

No. The heat exchanger is probably leaking.
