Pentair 242001 VS Pump Error Code 0002

I'm getting this error code after intermittent failures of the pump to start with external control.

What does it mean and how do I fix it?

Did you mean the 342001 Superflo VS pump?

or

Pentair SuperFlo VS pump "Absolute Phase Current Limit Exceeded."

My Pentair Superflo VS pump now shuts itself down when I try to start it. When I press start, it shows the program start time, then it says PRIME, then it fails with a flashing code "0002." The manual states that this is "Absolute Phase Current Limit Exceeded." I pressed stop, opened the CB...

Interestingly with no action on my part the pool pump is working under the scheduled start times and speeds right now. I am still going to go check to see if it has something stuck in the impeller today to make sure that it didn't just temporarily clear as this has been intermittently occurring now for about a week.
