Peeble sheen was done 2 days ago on a brand new pool, yesterday they came and acid washed the entire pool, and stared filling it, today it finished filling few hours ago, builder said that the only thing i need to do is brush it, and that he will start it Monday... i see some interesting spots on the bottom (maybe uneven, maybe just the water reflection) but i want to be sure to tell my pool builder about this if true asap, is it safe to carefully walk into the pool tomorrow and feel it with feets and hands to make sure everything is good???

No, stay out of the pool. Its still soft and you don't want to mar the finish.

Brush it with a long handled brush.

Test your fill water to give you a baseline so you know what you're dealing with, but it sounds like the PB hasn't yet put anything in the water except MA. Save your reagents for a few days.

Make sure you register your pebble sheen finish. Product Registration - Pebble Tec

Ask your PB if it is okay to get in. If you read the build threads, lots (most??) tell clients they can jump in as soon as it’s full. We were in our Pebble Sheen pool the day it filled, with encouragement from our PB. But, you should see what your PB has to say since they hold the warranty card.

The PB was walking on the pool while it was empty, 1 hour after it was shot, they were doing the light inside the pool, and later they were finishing some tile work :(

I'm going to take a slightly different tack here, but not meaning any offense. This is certainly a gray area.

Yes, the standard recommendation is 30 days for wheeled cleaners, mostly because they can spin in place, which can be pretty aggravating to any non-cured surface. But as far as damage from feet? Your pool finish sat in the open air for two days before being filled. Pebble is basically a concrete type product. I would have zero issue gently going in, and for me, so long as I wasn't jumping, gouging and my toenails were trimmed, I wouldn't be concerned on pebble. If I wanted to be super cautious, I'd where Crocks.

In one of the threads above, a PB member says he lets his clients go in as soon as the water is in and being filtered (obviously assumes no hot acid start), and he sees/saw no damage from it. And he would be on the hook. But agreed, that PB's may not always be the best for such advice.

These are just my thoughts mostly, so don't do it because I said so. It needs to make sense to you and you need to be comfortable with any problem you create that was contrary to advice from your PB.

One thread mentions a foot print that remains in the shallow end. I've read both sides of this issue, and am suggesting caution. The OP will do as he wishes, and I hope no damage to the finish occurs.

I was also thinking - its February! How much swimming does one usually do? LOL

Yes great reason to build off season. I can tell you I’m not tempted to go in mine right now!

But, you should see what your PB has to say since they hold the warranty card.

Unfortunately, pool surface warranties are pretty worthless. They usually don't cover any cosmetic issues and the manufacturers usually blame pool owners for not keeping the chemistry in line (regardless of whether they do or don't). Personally, I wouldn't walk on it but not because of any warranty concerns, rather, in case anything does happen that you have to live with for the next 20-30 years!
