Hello! I'm new to this forum - we're in the startup phase after a 4 month remodel of an original 1960 pool. We choose pebble fina bella blue and I'm not happy with the brigtness of the bottom and the color of the water. The water looks like blue jello. The samples we were given and that we looked at with our tile choice was significanly lighter than the finish that was applied. Additionally, there is streaking on the top step and the pool company applied the finish up into the grout. What are my options? Is it possible to lighten the blue with chemicals, or do I need to either live with it or replace it with a different product?

Welcome to TFP.

There is no way to change the color of your plaster once it is applied.

How long since you added water to the pool?

What are your chemical levels?

The water color may change a bit once you have the correct water chemistry.
