PB installed a Nature2 Inground when I asked for SWG

First time pool owner in the midst of a fiberglass pool build. I did some research and decided I wanted to use the trouble free pools method before going down the path of purchasing a pool.

I asked the PB for a SWG system. Looks like I got a chlorine mineral system instead! 🙁

Here’s what was installed on Friday:

Nature2 fushion inground
Jandy pump
Propane spa and pool heater

Is this fixable? Now that it’s installed, should I just leave it and request a refund? Or ask him to replace it with what I asked for?

Have you builder remove the Nature2 Fusion and install the Nature2 Fusion Soft which is the SWG. They are the same form factor so the new box should drop right in but you will need the control panel installed for the SWG.

We recommend you DO NOT have the mineral cartridge installed. The minerals will accumulate in your pool and eventually lead to staining.

Find the cartridge and hide it. And don't let your installer take the blankout plate it comes with in the mineral slot as they are near impossible to find.
