Pavers entire circumference of track

Has anyone here used pavers (dug into ground and leveled) around the entire circumference? I’ve only found a few references online, just curious. Picture attached to show what I’m talking about, not my picture.

I have not but it would make a great base.. It would be easier to put them down and then add compacted stone and dust/crusher run to bring it up to height.. It turns into almost a concrete when compacted in 1 inch layers.. :)

You’ve been very helpful on my posts, thank you. One more question- shoukd the metal pool wall be snug against the rail track all the way around? I have spots where it’s snug and spots where I could put a toothpick between wall and track. Should I be alarmed or do they naturally push out where they should be an not everything touches?

Now that I do not know exactly as I have never put one up.. I think it will be just fine, a toothpick is nothing :)

Nice. I was considering pavers full circumference. Your build made up my mind. Spring project. Thanks for sharing.
