IMG_3503.jpegHello all, first post here. Just had my pool resurfaced less than a year ago. I had my pavers sealed a few months ago and the company sprayed a ton of sealer into the pool. I’m not sure what’s going on here but I can’t get this stain out. There was also some type of joint sand that also got into the pool as well. My pool plaster company doesn’t want to touch this. Any recommendations on how I may be able to get rid of this? Thank you so much for any input.

Thank you, it’s in the deep end of the pool near the main drain. About 8 ft.
That makes it more difficult to try to treat it or sand the plaster.

That a pebble finish?

You may need to live with it until you have a reason to drain the pool.

Maybe @onBalance has ideas.

I had some smaller stains in a few other places I was to get cleared with pool first aid by natural chemistry.
Those were iron stains,

Don’t start putting magic potions in your pool without knowing exactly what chemicals you are adding and what they will do.

That’s urethane type resin. There’s no chemical process to remove it. You have to drain the pool and probably lightly sand those areas to get the stains off. That’s not an appealing option as draining pools can be dangerous in areas with high ground water.

Pool stores do sell stain removal tools that you can hook up to the end of your pool pole. They look like hard rubberized sanding blocks or pumice stone. You could try that first to see if some light mechanical rubbing will make the stains go away.

Thanks I will give that a try!
