Can I just buy the pool ?

You wouldn't like the commute...

No, we still have to list our house. Again unconventional. It's officially listed on the 26th - this Thursday. Our realtor is just getting the word out early on Facebook so he has a good turn out for his open house this weekend.

I imagine it won't take long...hopefully the bathroom artwork is included in the sale. That should really help close the deal.

Where's the new place? Chino?

Wow! You guys really are making a move - Santa Clarita to Norco is a ways...We lived in Irvine for a brief stretch of time. Coastal Orange County is one of my favorites (Monterrey is my dream town) but Riverside isn’t too shabby either....I hoped the reduced commuting leaves you more time for swimming...

On the remodel, forget the pirate ship and go with the raised lagoon spa flowing down into a dive pool with a lazy river -

I get all my creative ideas from PlaySchool Toys these days.....

I like the 3-d model. Really sells the design

Just gotta get Brian to draw that up on some official DCC 11x17 drawings and start shopping it around to some engineering firms....I really like the idea of having a high spa in the middle of the pool that an adult or two can sit in while the kids swim around. The spa can run down to the pool but there can also be one of Brian's basalt rock fountains next to the spa to act as a nice water feature and having the thatch-roof cabana with hammocks would be awesome too. The palm tree is a bit of an issue from a landscaping standpoint but you could always put up one of those fake palm/cell phone towers there and lease the space to a couple of cell providers....think about the awesome cellphone signal you'd get?!?!? 5 bars FOREVER!!!
