We got the post holes dug. They are 5'5" deep. Kinda a pain. I'm going to weld up the post caps tomorrow and if I can find a few friends I will stand them up.
The automation has been relatively easy to get going but I haven't finished due to time. I have the SWG and the pumps set. I'm working on the heater and lights soon.
The pool really looks great. I got my test kit yesterday. PH was 7.4, Chlorine was a little low so I bumped up the SWG, I added salt to 3200, and CYA was at 70. The startup was really easy.

No need to add any calcium. It will come up on its own as time passes and your surface isn't reliant on calcium being in the water to maintain it's integrity.

5'-5" deep?? Jack's been a busy little dude! Hope he got pool breaks in between the digging.
I'm pretty sure 5-5 isn't below the fault line. But it certainly is (WAY) below the frost line. Don't think you'll have to worry much about the patio cover shifting.

Patio cover posts went up today. We have footing inspection in the morning and we will pour the concrete in the afternoon. Then we can finally finish the deck.
That is the way to do it! Lots of rigging and making sure it stays in place! Here is hoping your inspector is as impressed as we are!

That's it? Wow! That's awesome. It's amazing what those extra couple of inches did to concrete volume. Nice work!!
