Hi. We just finish building our pool and we used stonescape touch of glass as pool finish. It is very rough in same areas. It looks like the pebbles were overexposed. The contractor said that ge is going to hand polish the surface. Would that work or just make worst. Should I ask to be re plaster. I appreciate any input.

I doubt hand polishing can make the surface rougher. Only you and contractor can decide if it meets your expectations.
