Overdig a little too small

Hi,

When I sprayed the overdig for my pool, I sprayed 2 foot. Since the walls are not exactly plumb straight down, I have somewhere between 1 to 1.5 feet at the bottom grade instead of the requisite 2 feet. Do I need to dig this all out to 2 feet+ around the entire perimeter, or can I just dig a little further out where each brace is going to be?

Its a steel walled vinyl liner pool.

18" is good you need the 24 for braces. Go a little heavy on the concrete 8" and throw fibermesh in the load for good measure. Will be tight doing the plumbing and any electrical unless ur skinny
