Opened pool - crystal clear but need to balance!

We have a 21' AGP with SWG. Pulled off winter cover today and the water was crystal clear and clean!

Filling up to proper depth now but tested and looking for advice on what to balance first. I did this last year for the first time but I can't recall exactly.

Pool is 10,500 gallons supposedly.

800ppm salt
Less than 30 CYA
7.2 ph - 1 drop base demand
30ppm ta
2.2 FC / 0 CC

I think I start with salt, then CYA, then PH/TA, but not certain.

Thanks!

How did you measure a CYA of 3?
Chlorine first, get CYA dissolving, add 30 ppm TA worth of baking soda.

Sorry, meant to say less than 30 CYA as my tube was full and I could still see the dot!

What he said.

And when things look okay and the water is circulating nice, then add the salt. Give it a day to dissolve and mix, then let the SWG take over chlorinating. You'll have to do it manually until then.

Thanks.

Ok couple days later here's where I'm at:

SALT -- 3100 ppm
CYA -- 80
PH -- 7.0
TA -- 90
FC -- 8.5

Not sure how chlorine got so high as I only added 1 cup of liquid chlorine 2 days ago!

SWG is not turned on. Need to get PH up a couple ticks and FC down I think??

Thanks
