Hi Pool world. I recently installed a OmniPL retrofit kit from an old aqualogic system. Everything went good except im having trouble configuring the heater. The heater is a Pentair minimax nt 400 (yes very old) juice might not be worth the squeeze…lol I have attached pictures of the connection. The heater doesn’t fired when spa mode/filter/heater is turn on. However I can manually push the spa button on the heater and the heater with turn on. Please advise if the possibility exit for controlling with the omnilogic controller.

Does the heater start if you take the orange and blue wires off of LV1/LV2 HEATER and touch them together?

Hello, l believe because of the angle of the picture it looks like it connected to both LV1 and LV2 however it’s only connected to the LV/1 section. Do you still want we to give it a try?

Yes. Those two wires run to your heater.
Be the relay and connect them together and see if the heater runs.

Does it come on if you press the POOL button?
When I manually put it on the pool or spa it comes on.. under the aqua logic system it was program to heat pool and spa…however we have never in all the year ever heated the pool with this heater only the spa.I have Solar for that

Okay, that confirms the heater works.
But your remote control wires are not working. Nothing wrong with your OmniPL if when you hold the wires together the heater does not go on. That is all the OmniPL relay does.
Check the continuity of each wire from end to end and make sure they are intact.

Jumper between SPA and COM or POOL and COM and press REMOTE and see if your heater turns on.
That is all the OmniPL heater relay does.

Good afternoon,
I checked the continuity of each wire from end to end and make sure they are intact and I do see now where one of the wire was getting ready to work it self loose at the connector. When I move it a little it just broke off. I put in a new wires and the heater fired up right away when I hit the spa function on the app. Extremely happy and thanks for helping out. Much appreciated.
