Omnilogic Questions

Hi. I am thinking of putting an Omnilogic in my new build, but have questions for anyone that uses it.

1) Can I program it to close the Bottom Suction Valve, Skimmer Valve and open the cleaner valve when I want to clean?
2) I was looking through the programming and I saw in the setup for heater there is a heater cooldown function which seemed to insinuate that the filter pump shuts down when the heater turns off. I am using my filter pump to circulate water through my heater, so I dont want it to shut down when the heater is off. Is there a way to make sure the pump keeps running even when the heater is off?
3) Does anyone know if/when the network module for the Colorlogic lights are coming out? As far as I understand if I am buying the UCL lights I have to buy either the switched version or the networked version. If I buy the networked version am I correct in assuming they wont work with the Omnilogic until a network module is released?

Thanks for the help!

1) You get control over 4 valves, 2 of which may need to be slaved together. It should be possible to do as you want with the proper plumbing setup
2) You set the times to run the pump. I believe the cooldown feature is an override for the situation when the heater is on when the pump would normally shut off. So the heater would be shutoff and the pump would run a little extra for the cooldown.
3) No idea.

Thanks for the help. I am actually thinking of getting the expansion module so that I have control over eight valves. What do you mean by slaving and the proper plumbing setup? I attached a picture of what my setup will be like. Its just missing a check valve between the cell and the heater right now. I was either going to do this or instead of using the three way valves on the suction I would just do a manifold will three separate actuated valves for the Vacuum, Skimmer and bottom drain each.Pool Plumbing.jpg

The assumption is typically that you have a pool/spa combo and thus 2 valves always move together (suction and return valve) to swticth from pool to spa mode.
I think there is a way to override this slaving through the use of control lines, but been a long time since I have looked at the manuals.

The automation valves typically are better for 3-ways I think.

You could control the pool vac as you posted in your first post by using 1 automated valve between it and the skimmer/bottom drain. Like your picture but switch the pool vac and the bottom drain.
