My lights in my pool aren’t working and the electrician said the relay doesn’t turn on. When he held a button under the relay the lights worked. Any ideas on what my issue might be?

Did he try replacing it it only takes 5 minutes to put in a new one. The other possibility is your automation has lost the configuration and is not sending a signal to the relay. What system do you have?
