OmniLogic firmware upgrade to V5

Yesterday I received notification in the Hayward app that there was a firmware upgrade to v5. I don’t see any release notes on hayward’s site. Anyone know what’s new in this release?

Nope. Hayward release notes come out long after the software is released.

It is an upgrade to the OmniLogic MSP.

I plan to install this update today. Will report any adverse consequences. On one hand I hesitate to be a pioneer, on the other hand, I can’t resist seeing what happens lol.

Oh, I did not answer your question. They posted a vague set of release notes dated May 1 for software dated May 13 (I think they posted it late yesterday though). From what I get out of it, PBs can get special software that allows them to update the config remotely, and there are unspecified “security and reliability improvements.”
