Omni VS pump and Colorlogic lights automation

We just had our pool installed last year with Hayward equipment. We have automation via the Omni VS pump and Omnilogic app.

When we turn on the lights, they cycle through a bunch of colors and then usually land on the designated color. When I CHANGE the lights to another color or show via the app, they usually get caught up in a flash show of colors that seemingly never ends. Sometimes, the flash show ends, but then it doesn't change to the designated color. It seemingly picks whatever color or show it wants.

Am I missing something? Or just call PB for help?

Hayward has a few different type of lights called ColorLogic and of you don't know if your lights are 2.5 or 4.0 or using OmniDirect then it is best to call your PB.
