Niche came preinstalled with American Fiberglass Pools shell; no idea of actual brand & currently have swamp so can't see much. Top part of niche is exposed & can't see any screw area; bottom 2/3 is underwater (or more accurately under liquid ) and can see a cleat/finger at bottom. Hole diameter is 9-1/2"

Purchased Florida Sunseeker led light. Part that should fit in hole is 9".

Previously had a Pentair Intellibrite that never fit correctly; pool resurfacer used wedges, but they didn't stay in.

Have seen amazon: Aladdin 500C adapter and amazon: PoolPal USA Swimming Pool Light Repair Adapter Ring that I think might work.

Thoughts? 🙏

Edit: Florida Sunseeker said they didn't think wedges would work with their slim design.

PoolPal USA adapter specs:
It fits a 9" niche
The part of the light ring that sets into the light niche is: inner diameter 8 1/4", outer 8 3/4"; the diameter of the whole light ring is 12 1/2".
3 screws hold it in place

Maybe glue "padding" material to adapter to fill gap to my 9-1/2" niche hole?
