Dear All,

I am analysing the instalating of a heat pump for a physiotherapy indoor pool of around 20.000 liters at an steady temperature of 95 °F. My client had the ideia of acquiring an old equipment from a friend that had installed it and used just a very few times(under $1000). Nowadays, the equipament is stored.

I cannot find any information regarding user manual or specifications of it, just the nameplate. Does anyone have any information regarding the following heat pump? Expecte COP of such an old equipment?

SMARTEMP POOL HEATER HEAT PUMP

PEREGINE INDUSTRIES INC.
DEERFIELD BEACH, FL

MODEL : STS-6/ATS 12000

MANUFACTURE DATE: 09/96

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure a heat pump can get a pool to 95. Possibly. If it works, plumb it in and use it. Any competent electrician should be able to get it working. The company is out of business so if anything major is needed for it you are out of luck.
