Hi! I'm a retired engineer. I spent my career working on railroad and rail transit signaling and train control systems. I've worked on most of the transit systems around the US and on systems in Athens Greece, Kaohsiung Taiwan, and Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. My older daughter graduated from high school in Athens and my younger daughter in Kuala Lumpur.
We moved a lot, over 30 times. Been in the Dallas area for 25 years, the longest I've spent anywhere. Spend my time taking RV trips with my wife, maintaining our 40 year old home and 38 year old pool, and entertaining my grandkids.
The pool is a free form diving pool, 8' at one end and 3' at the other. There are steps to enter the pool and seats on either side of the deep end. Spa is at the shallow end with a spillway into the pool. The spa has upper and lower jets. Behind the pool is a playset and swings for the kids.
We resurfaced it when we first bought the place and then again last year. I've replaced almost everything that isn't underground.
Even though I've just joined, I've already had some great help. Glad I found this group and happy to be a member.
