Hello all,

I hope you can help give me advice. I got a new spa from auction that obviously had a issue from factory. Found a very small leak like 1 drop every 3 seconds or so. So they put this black stuff everywhere to try and fix it, but obviously it's not where they put it.

So 2 questions. What kind of jet assembly is this. It is a non-adjustable small jet. I think replacing the entire thing is best any idea how to remove as I don't see a washer that I can unscrew it1000014550.jpg? 2nd is the water and air line going into the jet has the blue loctite type stuff on it. Is there a easy way to get that hose off? Where can I get this assembly online what is it called?

Thanks,

Mike

Calling @RDspaguy …. ☎️
While we wait for him tell us what hot tub you have.
Hi @Mdragger88 ,

I got it for $825 at local auction. It is brand new. Just finished electrical today and everything works fine as I tested it for several hours. I imagine it was at auction because of this?? I'm totally happy with it so far, but I noticed a little water and found this dripping. I did find that it is a Mona Lisa Model # M-3308D (not known here but supposedly a great brand in China with US made motors and the Canadian Gecko controller. It was manufactured 3/2023. I found the company on Alibaba and reached out to them and have been in communications. They are supposed to get back with me on if I can replace the whole assembly or not. I would image I can?
The spa has Gecko controls, 75 jets, 2- 3hp motors and 1- 0.35hp motor for filtering. It also has 6 of the waterfall arches.

If they can get back with you on a part number or manufacturer you may can find a replacement jet housing on spa depot . The face of the jet generally comes loose from inside the spa which should then allow you to remove the housing from the shell & plumbing. You’ll want to lower the water level to do this.

Oh I already pumped all the water out lol to be safe. I don't see a screw on nut from the bottom side of the hot tub that is my only concern.

I see the company has a Facebook page- sometimes using messenger or commenting on posts gets you help/info a bit sooner. Maybe simply asking for a parts list - would be helpful for the future as well

yes that is them. I have them on Whatsapp and have been talking with them off & on so we will see where that gets me.

Fingers crossed 🤞
Worst case scenario you may be able to just find another jet & housing that is the correct size even if its not the oem one. Not sure if that’s exactly possible (or that simple)
we’ll see what spa guy says when he comes by.

Ok well good news while we wait. I was able to unscrew her. It has this double pancake looking gasket that has a tiny thin layer of silicone. Going to clean it and reseal. Where should I put silicone at this point? I will get more pics of the gasket when I get here but I only have this top down view right now. I hope the leak is coming from there and not the actual jet body underneath.

Well I know it is NOT the gasket now. This went from fun to really fun in 1.2 seconds. The spa jet body the part the jet screws into has a major crack. So next question. Where can I find this style and how in the heck do I remove the pipes connected is there a special way like twist and pull or do I have to cut them etc.. they have some kind of blue gunk/loctite looking stuff in the inside. Whoever tried to fix it before used this black sealant stuff that will make it that much more difficult. Any help and Ideas on where to get it and how to replace I would appreciate.

There should be a part number on the jet body, assuming it's not covered in epoxy.
The hole size in the shell is what you use to find an off-brand replacement. Anything that fits and has the right fittings (barbs) will work but may not match the look.
